Laser hair removal is an effective and safe method of permanent hair removal, highly recommended by our Maris salon. This treatment allows you to forget about unwanted hair and enjoy smooth skin without the irritation that can occur after shaving with traditional methods. We also recommend our method because it makes the procedure painless.

At Maris Salon, we use a state-of-the-art Soprano Titanum diode laser equipped with a head that generates as many as 3 wavelength light beams: 755 nm, 810 nm, 1064 nm, which provides much better results with light skin types and light hair. It is a combination of diode, alexandrite and neodymium yag laser. The SHR laser works by gradually heating the dermis, effectively damaging the hair follicles without damaging the surrounding tissue. Our SHR technology with ICE PLUS™ cooling guarantees a nearly painless procedure and minimizes the risk of irritation. Regular sessions reduce hair by 70-90% and permanently weaken hair follicles.

How does laser hair removal work?

The laser emits light attracted by melanin at the root of the hair. The heat generated destroys the hair root, which prevents regrowth. In-Motion™ technology enables precise and effective action over the entire treatment area, providing full coverage and effectiveness. During the treatment, the laser beam precisely reaches the hair follicles, destroying them at the follicle level. To achieve the best results, it is necessary to perform a series of treatments, every 4-8 weeks. This removes hair in the active growth phase, guaranteeing long-lasting results.

How many treatments are needed?

How to prepare for the procedure?

For best results, prior to treatment:

Shave the skin 12-48 hours before the appointment.
Avoid waxes and depilatory creams for 4 weeks before treatment.
Avoid tanning (natural and spray) and self-tanners.
Do not use photosensitizing drugs, antibiotics and steroids before the procedure.
Do not use acids or peels on the skin at the treatment site for a minimum of 6 weeks.
Avoid tattoos and moles during treatment.

Recommendations after the procedure

After laser hair removal treatment, it is a good idea to follow the following tips:

Avoid the sun for 4 weeks and use creams with a high UV filter.
Shave the skin with a disposable razor during a series of treatments.
Avoid saunas, hot baths and deodorant sprays for 24 hours.
Apply cold compresses to reddened skin if irritation occurs.

The laser hair removal treatment lasts from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the selected body part.
